Premade pouch packaging machines represent the preferred approach for premium packaged goods where pouch quality directly influences consumer perception. ECHO Machinery's premade pouch systems handle pouches manufactured off-line by specialized pouch converters, which means the pouches arrive with precise graphics registration, perfectly formed zippers, and consistent geometry—qualities that are difficult to achieve with in-line form-fill-seal. The machine's job is to handle these pouches gently, open them reliably, fill accurately, and seal consistently. The rotary configuration uses a servo-driven indexing table with stations arranged around the circumference. At station one, vacuum cups pick a pouch from the magazine and place it into grippers. Station two opens the pouch with opposing vacuum suction cups. Station three optionally injects nitrogen to displace ambient air. Station four dispenses product through a filling funnel. Station five provides a secondary fill or product settling vibration. Station six heat-seals the pouch top. Station seven applies a secondary seal or cooling bar. Station eight discharges the finished pouch. This parallel processing means each station performs its operation simultaneously, achieving high throughput without rushing any individual step.
